Your world has shattered. The pain weighs heavy on your chest. You may be numb, detached, confused, disorientated. Your mind feels foggy; everything turns grey.
Disbelief – denial – shock – sadness – guilt – anger – relief…
You’re hit by a relentless cycle of emotions.
You may be surrounded by people but feel completely alone. Routine tasks feel impossible. Fear, anxiety, isolation. Darkness.
Colour will come back into your life, but it’s not a tidy journey. It takes time and love.
If you feel you’ve nowhere to turn, I can help. I offer a not-for-profit service to help you and your new family navigate the path towards hope, healing and your new normal.
I suffered the loss of both my parents as a child, so I understand the pain and trauma that families experience. I struggled alone and in silence; I don’t want this to be your story.
I’ve dedicated my life to helping thousands of families cope with grief. I worked as a psychotherapist for bereaved children and young people for over 25 years.
I founded Grief Encounter, one of the UK’s leading bereavement charities, and became an expert in traumatic grief.
This experience has given me the knowledge and expertise to connect you with the support that’s right for you. This could be one-to-one counselling, for example, group sessions, or a workshop.
You can trust that you’ll be in good hands.
I’ll help you look towards a brighter future
