Dr Shelley Gilbert MBE, appeared alongside Runner-Up of BBC’s Young Reporter of the Year, Zoe, 15, from Tyne and Wear, for BBC News and Radio, discussing childhood bereavement during lockdown, and the lack of support for grieving teenagers taking exams. Zoe experienced the death of her mother in May 2020, from Cancer.
